Pricing and Booking
What does a call out cost?
Nothing. Every job starts with a $0 call out, and the price is agreed in writing before any work begins, so you approve the figure or we leave at no charge.
Do you offer same-day repairs?
Same-day where the schedule allows. Ring early and tell us what is happening, and we will give you an honest answer about whether we can get there that day.
How do I get a quote?
Ring (02) 4063 3438 and describe the job. We ask a few quick questions so the right gear is on the truck, then you get the price in writing before anything starts.
Do I approve the price before you start?
Yes, always. Nothing happens until you have approved the quote. If the figure does not suit, we shake hands and leave, and there is no charge for the visit.
Where We Work
Which suburbs do you cover?
Toronto and the nearby western-lake suburbs: Blackalls Park, Carey Bay, Kilaben Bay, Rathmines and Awaba. We are in town most weeks, so most jobs fit the regular run.
Do you take jobs in the older streets near the water?
Yes. The cottages behind Victory Parade and Excelsior Parade are regular runs, and the older housing there brings quirks we plan around before a tool comes out of the van.
Do you work on commercial premises?
Yes, from the shops along the main retail strip to clubs and medical facilities. Commercial plumbing runs on a different rhythm, so we schedule repairs around your trading hours.
Are you licensed for gas work?
Yes. Gas fitting is licensed work, and every connection, cooktop conversion or heater install is done to NSW requirements by a plumber licensed for the job, done safely.
Our Services
What services do you offer?
Four areas: emergency plumbing for burst pipes and no hot water, general plumbing for repairs and gas fitting, drainage for blocked drains and camera work, and hot water systems.
Can you clear a blocked drain on the first visit?
Usually. We bring jetting and camera gear on the truck, so most blockages are cleared and traced to their cause in one visit rather than two trips.
Can you replace a hot water system?
Yes, from repairs to full swaps. Plenty of units in the older housing stock here have run well past their service life, so replacing a dead tank is a weekly job.
What emergencies do you handle?
Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, no hot water and burst flexi hoses. If water is spreading where it should not be, ring (02) 4063 3438 and we will talk you through the shut-off.
Older Homes and Storm Season
Why do drains in the older streets keep blocking?
Many homes away from the centre still drain through brittle clay and earthenware lines, and roots from established gardens push into the joints until the pipe chokes.
Are old galvanised pipes worth replacing?
Usually, once they start causing trouble. Cottages from the early subdivision decades often still run galvanised lines that corrode, cut pressure and eventually let go without warning.
What happens in heavy rain around the lake?
Low-lying foreshore streets can surcharge during intense rainfall, pushing stormwater back through grates and gullies. Clearing pits and lines before storm season costs far less than pulling up carpet.
Can you work on fibro and weatherboard houses?
Yes. Those homes are common near the water, and we measure access paths and recesses before starting, so tight side passages never surprise anyone on the day.
